We are looking for an experienced Account Manager who is passionate about creating positive impacts, both environmentally and socially.   You will be highly motivated with a proven track record in successfully nurturing and growing a client portfolio.  The role requires dedication, enthusiasm and the desire to succeed. Our Account Managers have a “land and expand” model, so you will be targeted around successful implementation of our solutions, account revenue growth and successful client retention against measurable KPIs quarterly.

Role Objective:

Through understanding the current client profitability picture and opportunities for growth, you will manage a client base to grow the value through licence levels and additional products and services.

You will manage and strengthen the relationship between Liftshare and its portfolio of clients to maximise long-term revenue opportunities.

You will work with our existing client base of major UK employers, seeking to improve relationship and develop new contacts. You will use our existing relationships to springboard into other areas of our client’s business with a particular focus on driving sustainability contacts to position our new Mobilityways Platform. You will have a proven B2B sales track record of successfully nurturing and growing a client portfolio.

You must be able to demonstrate your ability to operate in a consultative, yet pragmatic way and to provide evidence of the value of the long-term relationships that you have established.

Summary of main duties:

  • Build a partnership approach with your client portfolio to understand their individual objectives, recommend, create and help deliver Liftshare Group solutions, and work with the ethos of their organisations.
  • Have your “finger on the pulse” of your client portfolio, with a real-time picture of the current performance. Operate as the lead point of contact for your client portfolio.
  • Be commercially minded and a strong negotiator, successfully ensuring strong upsells within the client portfolio, and preventing churn.
  • Cultivate relationships with additional contacts within your client organisations, through LinkedIn outreach, utilising existing contacts for introductions, online research and the phone.
  • Take a strategic view to maximise value of existing client portfolio, growing client value and membership.
  • Deliver the highest levels of proactive client service to an agreed client portfolio, with the ability to support the wider Client Success team in delivering client projects as required.
  • Effectively manage your workload, priorities, planning and SMART goals to achieve KPIs and targets.
  • Identify and proactively manage ‘at risk’ clients, working on proposals to save and further develop relationships.
  • Support colleagues across the business to work in an aligned, collaborative and united way, sharing best practice.
  • Gain extensive knowledge on our suite of product offering with high penetration across your client portfolio.
  • Deliver against KPI goals and ensuring we reach our company objectives. Provide transparent feedback to the Head of Client Success regarding progress against KPI goals, flagging risks and providing guided solutions and decision making to stay on track.
  • Influence your client portfolio value through higher product adoption, customer satisfaction and overall client health scores.

Key performance indicators:

Your role will be measured on the following criteria.  These may change from time to time in line with the needs of the company:

  • Client retention value
  • Upsell value
  • Pipeline projected value
  • Ensure top level contacts and regular engagement with all High Gold clients
  • Client NPS
  • Number of referrals

Targets will be set and reviewed on a quarterly basis in line with cumulative performance.

 

Person Specification:

  • Robust research, analytical and critical reading skills
  • Hungry to sell and to progress, ideally within the organisation – ambitious
  • A background in account management and development in a B2B environment
  • The ability to demonstrate, through knowledge and a strategic approach, providing solutions, that Liftshare are the experts in their field
  • Able to report and deliver forecasting on a quarterly basis
  • Commercially focused with the confidence to create and work to KPI’s and targets
  • Excellent spelling and grammar with the ability to present to and communicate with clients at all levels
  • Able to systematically organise and self-manage own time, use initiative and demonstrate productivity and accountability
  • Experience of marketing a product or service is desirable
  • An understanding of or passion for behavioural change
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to “go the extra mile”
  • Confident but striving for continued personal development
  • Quick thinking and pragmatic with excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent project, planning and time management capabilities
