As Associate Director, you will work across the organisation and build on Traverse’s strong track record in local, regional, and central government across our services – research and evaluation; engagement; and consultation.
We are looking for someone who can tell a good story – about how our work enables local and central government clients to connect with their communities and the public on important issues and informs decision making.
Externally focused, you will be the first point of contact for clients and partners in local government and central government and you will drive the development of solutions and projects that lead to work winning. You will be responsible for identifying and responding to new business opportunities and working directly with clients, developing relationships so that we are able to best meet their needs.
Accustomed to working autonomously and with recent experience working in local, regional, or central government, you will have a successful track record of bidding for and winning contracts or grants and have a deep understanding of the diversity and complexity of the sector.

Salary estimate: Circa. £52k – 65k pa (depending on experience) plus an employer pension contribution of 7%.
Annual holiday entitlement: 38 days (including public holidays).
Location: We have an office in London, but our staff are dispersed and live across the UK.
Contract: 12-month fixed term. Our full-time hours are 35 hours a week. We are fully equipped to support home office working and are happy to talk flexible/part-time working.
