About the role

The role is an exciting opportunity to represent the Bike Club at our first ever pop-up store in partnership with John Lewis at Westfield, Stratford. As a Bike Club ambassador, you will help provide the general public with information on who we are and how they can join. From explaining the benefits of being a member, to supporting them with finding the right bike for their child, you will be the go-to on hand support in store.

· Gets a buzz from meeting and speaking to new people and can build relationships easily.

· You present well, in how you approach the public, your appearance and how you speak.

· You make the effort to ensure that your knowledge is on point and you take the time to learn the in’s and out’s of the brand you are representing.

· You enjoy the dynamic of a team environment but are just as comfortable when working independently.

· Can handle working on multiple tasks at the same time whilst thinking on your feet to create solutions.

· You can remain positive and calm when the going gets tough and working under pressure.

Why buy a kid’s bike? Children grow fast. Keeping up with their growth spurts can be costly and a hassle for parents. At the Bike Club we provide families with a sustainable and affordable option for getting their children active and enjoying the outdoors. We offer kids bike on a subscription service that can be exchanged as they grow. Not only are we disrupting the cycling industry, but we are changing the world of consumer finance and creating a circular economy for bikes.

Location: Westfield Stratford

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Shifts: 09.30-20.30 Monday-Sunday

Contract length: 8 weeks

Expected start date: 27/09/2021

Salary: £10.50 per hour
