This is a brand new, business-critical role with the opportunity to shape and scale innovation opportunities across the entire organisation. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking at product range expansion and channel expansion. You will be responsible initially for these two key priorities. The role will report to the CEO and include working closely with the Co-Founders with matrixed responsibility.

What we’re looking for:

  • We are exploring the potential to develop & launch Oddbox branded products to expand our range beyond our veg boxes.

    • You will be responsible for research, planning and testing new product ideas.

    • You will be responsible for building the business case by understanding the financial/consumer upside vs cost/effort to build and run

    • You will be responsible for putting together a transition plan and coordinating work across the different BAU teams

  • We are in early stage discussions with retail partners.

    • You will lead the discussions to assess opportunities, test and learn in order to provide recommendations to the Senior Leadership team

    • You will be responsible for ensuring there is clear visibility buy-in from all relevant teams

    • You will support the execution with detailed workplans and coordinating execution with relevant teams

    • You will be responsible for building the business case by understanding the financial/consumer upside vs cost/effort to build and run

    • You will be responsible for building relationships with retail partner counterparts.

Essential skills and characteristics:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, as part of a business transformation or embedded special projects team in mission-driven business

  • You are highly commercial, results driven and a great communicator.

  • Analytical, with a ‘business case’ mentality; able to take a rapid test and learn approach to test new opportunities, design and manage trials and be discerning in scoping projects that will prove to be impactful

  • Experience in use external market data, internal customer insights and brand considerations to evaluate product/market fit in assessing suitability for the idea.

  • Participate in all Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings and provide relevant departmental insight & perspective to the SMT discussion, driving cross-functional collaboration
