We are looking for an intern to help us identify high-impact venture opportunities in climate deeptech. The role is ideal for a student pursuing a technical degree (Master’s or PhD) with an interest in business and technology transfer, and optimistic about our collective ability to turn the tide on the climate crisis.
You will work with our Lead Analyst and Partners to evaluate technologies and markets at the cutting edge of the race to net zero, while spotting potential Founders or Advisors with deep domain expertise in Europe and beyond. Your work will help us refine our thesis, prioritise new venture development, and support investment decisions. You will have the opportunity to work directly with inspiring Founders and get exposure to the worlds of deeptech startups, venture capital, and climate solutions.
This is a lot of ground to cover, so your ability to learn on the job will be more important than ticking all the boxes. However, we feel that a scientific background coupled with a passion for climate and deeptech entrepreneurship will give you a head start.
This is a unique opportunity to join the initial team of a brand new programme designed to have an outsized impact in the climate fight. You’ll be able to get in at the ground floor as we create a new ecosystem for climate tech in Europe.
Our initial focus areas include CO2 removal and management, ocean climate solutions, computational chemistry & biology, low-carbon buildings, and hydrogen. We will add more over time as our team uncovers new high-impact opportunities.
Salary: 1200 € per month
