We are looking for an experienced, digitally minded communications professional to join our friendly team on a mission to power the transition to a clean energy future.

The communications executive role is fundamental to the successful operation of the business, as we communicate with investors, partners, developers, communities, policymakers and the energy industry to bring people together and make new renewable energy projects happen. You will ensure everything we say and everything we do reflects our values and brand guidelines and use your digital skills to share our story far and wide.
Working with the Head of Communications & Marketing and as part of a small multi- disciplinary team, you will take on day to day responsibility for how Thrive presents itself digitally, at events, to the media and in person to investors and other key stakeholders. You will also be part of the team responsible for investor support, ensuring that statutory communications are delivered appropriately.
We are looking for an experienced, digitally minded communications professional with an outstanding track record of producing compelling, creative and insightful content. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, presentation, editing, filming, and online communications skills, plus some basic design flair and outstanding attention to detail. They will also have the ability to grasp complex sectoral information and make it easy to understand. Experience of the financial sector is desirable, as is an affinity with the ethical approach of the business. The role requires a proactive approach and the ability to contribute to a small, well motivated, committed team.
- Creating compelling, visually interesting content for use across web and social media
- Producing regular email newsletters
- Managing website
- Managing social media channels
- SEO, advertising and web analytics
- Production of printed materials
- Event organisation and support
- Writing award nominations & other submissions
- Managing content library
- Support on media relations
- Evaluation and monitoring of marketing & communications activity
- Support, develop and promote Corporate Social Responsibility
Reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing. Working alongside the MD, Investment Director, Head of Operations and Investor Support. Liaising with investors, institutions, partners, host communities, agencies, media and suppliers.
- Salary in the range of £25,000 – £28,000 per annum depending on experience
