About the role

This role is core to the culture of the company as we continue to expand quickly both in London and around the world. As a B-Corp (read more here) we’re committed to being a business that balances purpose and profit, and this role will help us to make sure we’re living up to our commitment by championing it within Winnow, including our Net Zero ambitions. It will also be a key champion of our values in our organisation, and look for ways to help us live them globally. This is a role for someone who enjoys the flexibility of being at the heart of a startup, and will be willing and happy to get their hands dirty and take on new aspects to their role as Winnow’s needs change.

Winnow’s office is based in trendy Old Street, and as we get back to the office we need an enthusiastic, organised and self-starting individual to manage the space, make sure it’s a welcoming space for visitors, help maintain and develop our culture and help us reach our own Net Zero ambitions.

Key responsibilities


  • Coordinating the quarterly away days in London, and working with representatives from the global teams to run away days globally
  • Helping the wider team to organise events / social calendars
  • Finding opportunities to help Winnow develop our culture and live our values
  • Coordinating well-being activities – weekly fruit deliveries, yoga, running club


  • Make sure we’re living our B-Corp values and finding opportunities to do better
  • Leading our Net Zero sustainability efforts within the company, coordinating efforts to make our company greener and greener all the time
  • Managing our Net Promoter Score process & analysis to ensure we are acting upon customer feedback
  • Ad hoc support on other areas of the business that need an extra hand, whether that’s building our systems to go to sites, or providing data analysis support

Office Management:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Be the first point of contact for any general office questions or issues
  • Making sure we’re stocked up on everything we need across the office (stationary, coffee)
  • Organising cleaners and office maintenance (through the managing agent)
  • Closing up the front door at the end of every working day
  • Building and upholding standards of tidiness across the office, and holding teams to account if they’re falling short
  • Listen to and act on feedback from the London team to ensure the office has everything it needs to be a great place to work, and procuring furniture where necessary


  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and juggle lots of tasks
  • Fantastic time measurement and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Great general administration skills with excellent attention to detail
  • You enjoy problem solving and making things run more efficiently
  • You love interacting with, and supporting, people
  • You have a big interest in HR, team culture and well-being at work
  • Experience in an office management, PA role or in a HR team would be beneficial but not essential if you have a big interest in these areas and the other skills needed to do well.
  • You’re interested in supporting a business that balances purpose and profit
  • Able to respond both proactively and reactively to adhoc tasks
  • You’re passionate about reducing food waste, and want to play your part in an organisation at the forefront of this battle
  • You have a helpful can-do attitude, and you’re willing to get your hands dirty
