The Role

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll set up, implement and manage the company’s digital marketing strategy. Joining just at the time we’re launching our first digital products, this is an incredible opportunity to help build from the beginning and support Wefarm to impact many millions more farmers. Your primary aim will be to acquire quality members to our platform and increase brand love across our B2C audiences. You will also support our B2B lead generation with some digital marketing tactics.

 

Outcome 1: Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the execution of digital marketing programs from start to finish
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including PPC, SEO, social media advertising, retargeting, display ads and landing page optimisation
  • Work with our Growth team & Data Science squad to establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Work with creatives to produce consistent & engaging content for our channels that attracts and converts our target groups, and builds brand value

Outcome 2: Market Research

  • Design and execute regular customer survey and feedback campaigns to gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions
  • Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies

Outcome 3: Reporting & Management

  • Own all digital marketing campaign budgets
  • Measure key performance metrics, including conversion rate, CPC, website traffic, audience engagement, bounce rate, ad spend and return on investment and support the wider company to understand them
  • Analytics reporting across multiple platforms, extracting key insights for future campaign development

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in a digital marketing role
  • Experience of scaling a business in a competitive B2C environment
  • Strong knowledge of popular social media channels (such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram and TikTok), paid and organic search, display ads, native ads, retargeting and landing page optimisation.
  • Hands on experience with online marketing tools, social media platforms and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, GDN or equivalent, social media ads campaigns and keyword research
  • Proven experience of growing and nurturing online audiences/communities
  • Experience in producing digital marketing reports, tracking KPIs, website performance + analytics
  • Strong analytical thinking and data skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills

Bonus:

  • Background working for social networks
  • Experience of digital marketing in emerging markets
  • Familiarity with CRO / UX
  • Experience in a B2B marketing environment
