About the Role

The EPC Construction Manager will report to the EPC Director and provide EPC Project Team support in the execution of EPC projects ensuring Construction Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, develop and manage the EPC Construction, Completions and Commissioning [CCC] function
  • Execute EPC project activities and manage EPC/EPCm contracts through all phases of project development
  • Work closely with the wider EPC Project team to ensure accuracy of construction scope
  • Ensure the integrity of EPC contractor CCC capabilities
  • Ensure awarded EPC contracts meet all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements
  • Provide input into and monitor EPC Contractor monitor Trade Union relationships
  • Support and contribute to EPC and HV Technology group EPC project reviews
  • Explore opportunities for constructability improvements resulting in cost reduction and enhanced execution schedules

  • A relevant qualification such as a HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Business or Energy
  • A relevant Safety qualification such as NEBOSH
  • A CSCS Card


  • Extensive Construction Management experience gained from the process, natural resource or power generation industries
  • UK and EU EPC/EPCM experience in the delivery of projects across all phases including FEED, Execution, Commissioning and Handover
  • EPC Total Installed Cost [TIC] experience of projects with TIC of £30mill to £350mill
  • Experience of various contract forms such as FIDIC, NEC or IChem E
  • Experience in management of multi-contract execution structure including C&I and M&E



  • A relevant BSc Degree or equivalent such as Engineering, Business or Energy
  • Cryogenic construction experience
  • Pressure Vessel field manufacture and construction experience
  • Experience in management of multi-contract execution structure including Civils
