Established in 2021, the Centre for Net Zero (CNZ) is a multi-disciplinary Open Research Lab using data-driven modelling and simulation to realise faster, fairer and more affordable paths to Net Zero. We develop detailed understanding of the behaviours of future energy systems and generate insights to inform future policy, regulation and investment to support the green energy transition. Our programme of research incorporates short- and long-term horizons, with the short-term research adopting an agile approach that enables rapid generation of early insights and validation of future research routes.
Our team is based in London and flexible working arrangements are supported although this role must be able to attend the office when required, and sometimes at short notice. Some UK and international travel may be required.
We’re looking for a versatile, capable and enthusiastic all rounder to pick up ops and EA support for the team here at Centre for Net Zero.
This is a part time role, 10 hrs / week initially, most of which can be worked flexibly Monday – Friday. While most duties can be completed remotely, some will require in person attendance so candidates must be able to travel to our office at the Royal Institution on Albemarle Street, including at short notice.
This is a six month fixed term contract initially, starting ASAP, with the possibility for renewal after that time.
If you are interested in the Centre for Net Zero please send us over your details along with a bit about you and why you’re interested.
