Help us make a big green dent in the universe. We’re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution, and we need loads more people to help us make our vision a reality.
We’re looking for an intern to join the new Flexibility team in London. Flexibility will play a central role in the future energy system, helping to integrate more renewables and using energy in smarter ways.
One of the main things the team works on is unlocking flexible demand from low carbon technology in customers’ homes and using this to provide various services to national and local grids. In this internship, you’ll help us take a deeper look at new markets for flexibility, understand how these work and quantify the available value.
Additionally, you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves and get involved in day to day operations of the team.
This internship is open to current students and recent graduates.
What you’ll do
- Research new markets for flexibility
- Understand market rules, estimate market value and communicate findings to the team
- Expand and grow the new market evaluation framework and methodology
- Help out with qualification and bidding for flexibility services
What you’ll need
- Passion for the future of energy
- Strong quantitative skills
- Good research and presentation skills
- A basic understanding of how energy systems work
- One or more European languages would be a plus
If this opportunity sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
