We’re a non-profit Institute focused on organisation and systems
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Programme to take responsibility for managing and delivering a high quality, impactful experience on our Leadership Exchange Programme.
The 6-month Exchange Programme allows leaders from influential organisations to focus on the realities of their leadership by exchanging with two senior leaders from other sectors. Participants share perspectives, challenge their assumptions and provide peer support.
DESIGN AND PLANNING
>Design, plan and manage all elements of our Exchange Programme – being responsible for the end to end delivery of 4 Exchange cycles each year
>Develop a communications strategy and timeline for each programme.
>Manage the programme design, ensuring it remains as relevant and impactful as possible.
>Develop the long-term strategy for scaling the Exchange Programme.
>Work in partnership with our Senior Relationships Manager on recruitment of participants to ensure a balanced and diverse cohort of leaders from the private, public & social sectors.
LOGISTICS AND FACILITATION
>Lead the facilitation of the Programme event days (3 events per cycle of exchanges), supported by our Fellowship Director and Senior Director for both in person and virtual events.
>Oversee all logistical aspects of events on the day.
>Book venues and sort catering for each event, including all dietary and accessibility requirements.
>Manage the materials, feedback and work submitted by each exchange participant to understand learnings and development points with our Fellowship Director and Senior Director.
>Manage the budget for each set of exchanges.
>We are trying to build a movement of responsible leaders and developing long-standing personal relationships with participants is important to us. Liaising with all programme participants before, during and after the programme is a key part of the relationship building we need you to do.
>Build the network of participants, meaningfully engaging them with the larger network of Fellows and the rest of our work.
We don’t expect the person we hire to have ALL the following but hopefully this gives you a sense of what would enable you to thrive in this role and in our team:
>You are interested in how people learn and using that to evolve programmes
>You are an experienced and competent facilitator; comfortable in front of Senior Leaders and able to adapt to circumstances in the room
>You’re a good communicator; comfortable working with leaders more senior to you and everyone across our team. You can clearly disseminate and communicate
>You love building relationships in a warm, genuine way as you manage the relationship with the community of Fellows going through the programme. The role is very outward facing so it’s essential you develop relationships with our Fellows and suppliers quickly
>You enjoy event management, enjoy being creative and have a strong eye for design – both for graphic layout and using rooms, venues and spaces
>You have strong attention to detail, and are happy working both independently and in collaboration with others on the team
>You are strategic and can think on your feet, with strong organisational skills that help you manage and achieve competing priorities
>You are passionate about what we are trying to do and you see this as an opportunity to align your values and purpose with a successful social enterprise with big ambitions
>You have an aversion to jargon, you provide clarity in complex situations and have the ability to focus on what really matters

>Salary: £50-70k, based on seniority and experience
