Job Title Head of Logistics

Job Purpose Summary
The Head of Logistics will be a key member of the operations team, based in London, within PANGAIA’s growing global business and will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics, and reviewing and executing strategy to make sure every stage of the supply chain, right back to the source, works effectively. You’ll be trusted, encouraged and motivated to create a long-term strategy for the eCommerce supply chain that not only delivers performance improvement but long-term cost-efficient change, with minimal impact to the environment.
In addition to developing and managing the third-party logistics service providers the Head of Logistics will play a vital role within the Company HQ. You will be responsible for building and leading a strong team including internal and external members and ensure constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels in order to provide strategic direction and project management across the future logistics strategy with a focus on developing the eCommerce supply chain.
You will work closely with the business, merchandising, eCommerce, IT, Production and 3rd party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, efficiently and in a controlled manner.
Knowledge and Skills
You will be a proven and ambitious leader and problem solver with around 5 years logistics experience, ideally in a fast-paced eCommerce/Fashion operation that works on both tight schedules and very high volumes, and must have a minimum of a 2:1 level degree. Mastery of 3PL back end systems is mandatory, and experience with Shopify is ideal. You should demonstrate global experience and/or perspective and have a passion for sustainability.
