We’re looking for a Head of Procurement to be based at our London office. You will build our processes, including owning the vendor selection process, help negotiations, ongoing contract and vendor management, delivering continuous cost savings, performance and process improvements to the business.
What you’ll be doing
*Build effective procurement strategies and processes.
*Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance to sourcing strategy and continuous improvement of sourcing processes.
*Drive optimisation of the value provided by third parties, reducing costs and managing risk.
*Implement Supplier Relationship Management as an effective and efficient process, ensuring compliance with all policies, minimum standards and governance/risk mechanisms
*Assess the viability of a commercial management tool
*Develop expertise within the relevant categories
*Optimise procurement and supply chain management across multiple projects simultaneously
*Enable the business to improve decision making through the provision and interpretation of accurate, timely and relevant management information
*Adopt a digital mindset to enable our people to develop our processes to become more efficient and to utilise technology solutions to continuously improve.
What you’ll need
*5+ years of procurement experience including leading and building a procurement function, negotiating contracts and commercial terms
*Able to influence & negotiate with stakeholders and deliver commercial impact to Bulb
*A track record of implementation of an effective procurement strategy that had a high impact
*Be analytical; You can break complex problems into smaller ones
*Logical in prioritising projects and selecting appropriate partners
*Proven ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
*Ability to work well as part of a team, driven, relentless and a proven ‘finisher’
*Ability to identify process weaknesses and drive change and continuous improvement
*A deep knowledge of the use of procurement tools and an interest in driving automation and innovation in procurement process
*Develop relationships with existing suppliers that leverage spend to reduce costs whilst delivering innovation and benefit to our business
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present confidently and convincingly to senior management
*A recognised qualification in procurement is desirable
