Spin is growing quickly internationally and is looking for top-tier talent in the United Kingdom to help us bring safe, affordable, and accessible transportation options to the UK.
The HR Support Apprentice will carry out hands-on tasks within the HR department supporting recruitment, hiring, contracting, on- & offboarding as well as with administrative tasks. The role is crucial to implement strategic decisions.
Whilst Spin’s HR department is responsible for Europe, the apprenticeship position will be located in the UK where the apprentice will work closely together with the local team. The role reports to the Head of People Europe as well as dotted-line to local team members.

Your responsibility:

    • Delivering front line support and advice to managers and employees
    • Handling day-to-day queries for various stakeholders
    • Participating in HR process set-up and reviews
    • Conducting interviews for hourly employees
    • Coordinating interviews with managers
    • Preparation of contracts
    • Setting employees up in various HR tools
    • Supporting the payroll
    • Supporting the onboarding for new employees

Your qualification:

    • Business acumen and understanding of a start-up environment
    • Basic understanding of HR legislation and policies
    • Able to work with Google Suite Products and cloud-based toolsable to work in process-guided tasks
    • Able to work in process-guided tasks
    • Empathetic, a good listener with great interpersonal skills
    • Reliable, proactive, well structured and adaptable
    • Flexible and resilient, honest and integrate
    • Great written and spoken communication skills
    • Excellent at providing customer support to internal and external stakeholders
    • Attentive to detail and able to solve problems
    • Able to prioritise, mult-task and work independently towards deadlines
