This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to our business and the planet by leading the development and delivery of compelling propositions (product, price, positioning/marketing, customer experience) for our customers, in both their homes and businesses.

This role is on a twelve month Fixed Term contract to cover maternity. You’ll lead a team of three direct reports to deliver on these propositions, in a way that aligns with Good Energy’s purpose, values and supports high performance over the longer term

In this role you’ll work across Good Energy functions to develop and ensure delivery of propositions. This will include refining the business case and investment needs and ensuring that pricing is aligned to customer and commercial objectives.

Working closely with marketing you’ll ensure communication plans are aligned as well as making sure the customer experience is understood and measured across all touch points to gain competitive advantage as well as aligning to our purpose and strategy.

In this role, you will also work with Technology and Operations to prioritise resources. You’ll be responsible for managing risks including competitor activity, compliance and regulatory/policy.

Working in collaboration with these key stakeholders will be critical in this role, ensuring transparency, buy-in and overall decision-making. You’ll be an effective programme manager, managing each of the activities in the propositions roadmap as well as measuring the effectiveness during the propositions roadmap.

You will be a successful leader with a strong track record of developing customer strategies and propositions, working collaboratively across all parts of an organisation to ensure customer outcomes, business outcomes, people, resources and risks are managed effectively. You are genuinely passionate about our purpose and keen to use your skills to make a difference to our business and the planet.

You’ll have proven experience in developing both B2C and B2B propositions in a complex fast-moving competitive context where technology, marketing and the customer experience are critical success factors. You’ll have commercial experience gained through a similar role in propositions development or a consultancy role as well as having worked one other commercial operational business function (sales, business development, marketing, technology/product development, finance).

You’ll have a really good understanding of how to use customer data to build insights as well as compelling business cases and will have strong project management skills. Along with your proven leadership skills, you will have built successful and strong relationships with key stakeholders and will be able to influence at all levels.

It would be distinct advantage if you have previous experience working within energy or a regulated organisation.
