We’re expanding our training team nationally. We’re looking for an L&D Specialist to join our team

We’re expanding our training team nationally. We’re looking for an L&D Specialist to join our team. This role is incredibly varied. You will be part of our training team, travelling all over the UK, spreading the Octopus message, as well as contributing to our digital LMS platform.
You can be based in any of our offices around the UK.

What you’ll do

  • Provide insight and support including facilitation, design and delivery covering a range of areas from Induction, train the trainer, to leadership development and coaching
  • Actively design, distribute, and engage with our LMS system to provide engaging digital resources for our teams to be able to complete tasks efficiently
  • Measure content engagement and ROI and identify learning solutions where necessary
  • Regularly assessing learning needs and subsequently collaborate, deliver and evaluate training solutions for our partners
  • This role requires you to be extremely confident in your delivery and adaptable at all times in a role that is fast-moving
  • You play a key role in driving our culture, values, and customer obsession across our acquisition teams

What you’ll need

  • To have exceptional facilitation skills
  • You engage trainees instantly
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can seamlessly tailor your communication style to achieve maximum impact upon relevant situations and audience
  • To have helped maintain and update LMS systems in the past, and you are an expert in creating engaging content
  • To have awesome design skills, gamification and video editing experience is preferable
  • To be an expert in blended learning and creating an experiential learning environment
  • To have a comprehensive knowledge of the training cycle and an understanding of the latest training techniques and theories
  • An ability to travel with regular overnight stays is essential
