Senior Consultants – Public Engagement and Research and Evaluation teams

We’re looking to recruit two experienced researchers/ evaluators at our Senior Consultant grade to join our growing team. A highly autonomous role, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of teams responsible for the full project cycle including the research/ evaluation design, the processing and analysis of data (quant/qual) and reporting insight and impact. You will be the first point of contact for clients and partners and responsible for ensuring your projects run to time, quality and on budget.

Senior Consultants are also responsible for building and maintaining external partnerships and supporting senior colleagues with new business generation, market development and writing proposals in response to invitations to tender.

Being part of the Traverse team is about variety. In the space of a month we can go from talking to patients about their experience of video appointments with a GP, to running a focus group with construction industry trainees about sexism, to riding in a self-driving car with a group of citizens to help them think about new traffic laws. The common thread is that we want to involve people in the decisions that affect their lives.

We are aware that many highly capable prospective candidates may rule themselves out of work of this kind because they underestimate their own ability to do the role. Salary: £40,000-£52,000 pa (depending on experience) plus a plus an employer pension contribution of 7%.
