YOU’LL BE WORKING FOR: A London based ventured backed fintech promoting sustainability and helping you put climate action on autopilot with your spending and investments. Our award-winning app has been featured as App of the Day by Apple and was #3 Product of the Year on ProductHunt in the social impact category. We’ve been featured in numerous leading publications including TechCrunch, Business Insider etc and are growing rapidly.

YOUR MISSION: Help build and scale an engaged sustainability-minded community and increase YAYZY’s online and social media presence.

WHAT THE COMPANY WANTS: A superstar outspoken individual with a passion for sustainability and nose for a good story. If you know social media platforms like the back of your hand, love creating engaging engagement, believe building communities is your first love and are genuinely motivated to solve a big problem, we’d love to speak with you.

YOU WILL

  • Own the YAYZY social media channels- Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, create content across them and drive engagement
  • Write engaging, search engine optimised blog posts
  • Create a monthly newsletter to engage with our subscribers
  • Ideate and execute innovative ways to grow the YAYZY community and drive traffic to the community forum
  • Engage with other sustainable brands over social media and feature them in our posts
  • Work with the growth team to develop and deliver an effective content strategy in line with the marketing goals

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Passion for sustainability and helping solve the biggest problem humanity face today –climate change
  • Experience managing social media and building communities
  • Excellent communication skills, love for creating content that resonates with people and flair for telling a good story
  • Creativity and enthusiasm to generate and promote new ideas and initiatives
  • Tact and empathy to handle all inbound social media communication
  • Knowledge of email marketing and search engine optimisation
  • Outspoken, not afraid to let your voice be heard
  • Ownership, independence and proactivity
  • Intense curiosity and eagerness to learn

Desirable:

  • Graphic design skills
