Our first products are commercial electric vehicles, bringing affordable, zero-emission mobility to a segment responsible for a significant proportion of all vehicle CO2 emissions, particularly within the urban environment.
These vehicles will remove the need for customers to choose between the cost of owning an EV and being carbon neutral. Through our radical approach to vehicle design, engineering and production, the costs of purchasing and owning an Arrival vehicle will beat those of current, carbon-intense internal combustion engine competitors.
To help deliver this outcome, Arrival customers need market leading reliability and operational “up time”. Servicing and repairs must be kept to a minimum by design but, when required, need to be completed swiftly at the point of failure, with parts and personnel in place to do so.
To help deliver this, Arrival Solutions Ltd are looking for a Supply Chain Manager able to implement and manage complex Aftermarket Parts supply chain operations on a global scale.
Automotive experience is not essential but experience of implementing a global logistics solution (either in house or with 3PL/4PL partners) and an appreciation of the challenges in Aftermarket supply chains would be beneficial, particularly those that might be experienced in a new company like Arrival. A clear focus on customer experience is also vital.
As Arrival is primarily a technology company and increased automation in our processes is central to our ambitions, experience with machine learning and AI in supply chain planning and management would be an advantage. Strong IT skills are important and experience of dashboard design and/or creation would be useful.
You will be responsible for managing the Spare Parts logistics operation that delivers on Arrival’s commitment to its customers, beginning with the implementation of that operation.

You will also lead and be responsible for:

    • 3PL/4PL relationship management and optimisation
    • Operational expansion
    • Inventory management, including: Forecasting; Global Planning; Optimisation
    • Reverse Logistics and Circular Economy Operations
    • International Trade Compliance (inc. HazMat transport)
The supply base is shared with manufacturing so you will need to network and influence cross functionally to manage supplier performance, ensuring Aftermarket customer needs are given a voice in the wider business.
