Reliably building and delivering hundreds of thousands of vehicles to markets across the globe is critical to achieving Lime’s mission, and the VP of Supply Chain & Logistics is the person ultimately responsible for ensuring that. You will continue to build out our global team, develop strategic relationships with key suppliers to give Lime long-term competitive advantage, build up information systems that allow Lime to execute with ever-greater precision and oversee hundreds of millions of dollars in capital expenditures as we expand our fleet.

What You’ll Do

    • You are the person ultimately responsible for the on-time and on-quantity delivery of Lime’s vehicles and spare parts across the world. As part of that you will set the vision, communicate that vision, and execute
    • Be responsible for successfully building and managing a team across the USA, China and Europe
    • Identify, contract, and develop supply chain partnerships that factors: cost, quality, capacity, tech/R&D development/support, tier 2 management, corporate responsibility and duties/tariffs/import/export requirements. Reviews and analyzes activities, costs, operations, and forecasts data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives
    • Drive the optimization/automation of the end-to-end Supply Chain Operations to minimize cost and maximize customer service
    • Lead implementation and integration of the ERP, a seamless supply chain technology that provides full visibility of the entire supply chain. Sponsor and resources the technology innovations and solutions to enable distribution, logistics, and transportation
    • Recommend and drive improvement in supply chain processes for planned business growth and evolutionIdentify and create global information connectivity between suppliers, service providers, distribution, and logistics
    • Manage, optimize, grow, and evolve vital 3PL network for cost effective and highly reliable support of customers
    • Lead the organization responsible for managing (shipping, receiving, warehousing) inventory at Lime Hubs
    • Lead the demand planning organization responsible for forecasting safety stock at suppliers and spare parts inventory at Lime Hubs to ensure optimal stocking and flow of inventory throughout the system
    • Anticipate future trends related to supply chain operations, builds and implements mitigation strategies
    • Look for opportunities to make Lime’s supply chain increasingly sustainable and aligned with Lime’s mission and brand
    • Partner with administrative functions, and builds strong and deep relationships with Government Relations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Information Technology
    • Partner with our Data Science and Analytics team to identify areas of opportunity to optimize our transportation network for cost and service, leveraging data-driven decision-making to deliver meaningful results that align with the overall transportation and logistics strategy

About You

    • End-to-end supply chain leadership experience at companies of scale and known for having best-in-class operations
    • Demonstrated track record of developing supply chain strategy, execution and delivery
    • Successful supply chain transformation experience. A leader who has played a key leadership role in assessing and transforming a supply chain organization by implementing operational excellence and process improvement initiatives, as well as technology enhancements, resulting in improved procurement metrics and cost efficiency
    • Deep and proven experience working in businesses requiring an exceptionally high level of business and financial acumen. Understands the drivers for cost control
    • Team builder and leadership developer. Proven ability to attract, develop, motivate, retain and lead a high-performing team of professionals
    • Maintains a track record of developing and implementing performance metrics that are correlated with success, while holding a leadership team strictly accountable for results
    • Passion for finding and implementing sustainable supply chain solutions
